The Village of Bull Valley is an incorporated municipality in McHenry County Illinois that represents the residents of the municipality in the interest of their health, welfare and safety. The Village is small, with a population of 1077 in the 2010 census, but spread out over and area of 7.3 square miles. It has one Village Hall in an historic 1800’s Georgian style residence that was formerly home to the first family to settle in the area. It currently has three full time employees, six part-time employees, and an operating budget of approximately $1 million.

Public documents are available for viewing by appointment with the FOIA officer during regular business hours. The first 50 pages of copies requested are provided free; copies over 50 pages are $0.15 per page. Color and oversize copies are provided at actual cost. Digital copies are provided at fees established by section 6 of the Freedom of Information Act.
