Stickney House

Stickney House:

This Beautiful building is one of the last tangible connections between those of us that call Bull Valley
“home” and the early settlers.Like todays residents , the first pioneers loved the natural beauty of the valley and brought with them thier own sense of independence and style. Completed in 1856 in a period  of time framed by the Black Hawk and Civil Wars, this grand Italianate structure was, and remains quite the local attraction. Today the unique architecture and unusual history of the history of the Stickney House rests in the tender care of the Stickney House Foundation. Step by Step this stunning home is well
on it’s way to becoming  a community centerpiece once again.
